Short-time period hardcore trainings

Well the name is somehow a bit unlikely, since I also have my private life. Busy with school, girlfriend and other things.

But I have had enough time to keep me in a good shape, and improve a lot.

I didn't have any invidual matches last time, same as no off-line tours upcoming. But our team is now participating in the Clanwar Amateur series in which today we had our 2nd match.

The first one we lost, but I forgot most of that match to tell you guys how it went (was to late with blogging, excuse me for that). What I remember from 1 match that dok/Harstem was playing really good, and had a bad late game which costed him the win, so it ended up in a 1-2 lose. The game was 2-3 if I am right.

Second clanwar
Today was our second clanwar. I had diner, and suddenly dok/harstem called me and said we had a clanwar in an hour and i had to play one of the worsts maps; death trap. So i quickly finished my diner.. ran to my computer and started practicing for that little time i had.

When the clanwar started, dok/harstem told me that he was wrong and i didn't had to play death trap but 2 other maps. And unlucky two maps that weren't my best to.

dok/boomz0r vs. HBM.cRy (rematch needed)
My first game was versus HB.cRy (Night Elf); oh before i forget we are playing versus tha hungarian team hungerian brewmasters (quit uknown is you ask me). I started the game with some bad micro with my acolytes (quit dumb), but i didn't distract me and I was playing as best as possible. And it seemed to work out, I really played a good game with some good micromoves. Besides that i still lost 2 of my fiends at the start, but I killed around 4-5 archers. The game was starting to get a late game; i had a hidden expansion, while I was making it hard for him to get his expand up. The game was about to get 50/50, but since my expand was up earlier I had more money to get a better army. And then suddenly during the game, DISCONNECT.

In short terms; we had to do a rematch because of the bad hungerian internet.

Well i didn't care, I couldn't do anything about it. I still had some upcoming matches, so putting my face downwards wasn't really the way to get a win.

dok/harstem vs. HBM.FaKe (2-0)
Before the rematch dok/harstem had his match against HB.FaKe (Undead 1st game, Human 2nd). It was an outplayed match, with the opponent having no chance to even win a single moment of the match. 2-0 to dok/harstem.

dok/boomz0r vs. HBM.FaKe (2-0)
Now it was my turn versus HBM.FaKe (Night Elf). I had to played Twisted meadows first, in which I think I played really bad, but he played even worse. I made some macro mistakes in the beginning of the game, but later i got back in the game with some micro moves making me win the game easily. 1-0 to dok/boomz0r.

The second map was on Echo Isles (HB.FaKe as Orc) in which I was confidenced to play a way better game, because this maps suits me more. And I was right, I played a really good game without any bad mistakes making me win the game 2-0 with some early unit kills, a hero kill and lot's of base pushing. 2-0

Now it was dok/harstem's (Undead) turn to play again. This time versus a harder opponent; HBM.cRy (Night Elf).
I didn't really saw a lot of the first game because I had to do dishes for my dad, haha. But I saw he was pushing with mass ghouls / zeppeling and DK, and he was in food favour 24/20 versus 21/30 or something like that. He destroyed some of his moonwells, making the opponent unable to heal his wounded units.

dok/harstem versus HBM.cRy (2-0)
The second game dok/harstem started out with 6 ghouls gathering wood, and a solo DK push. Which worked out fine, making him able to steal level 3 creep and destroying some whips while he was teching to get mass gargs. The opponent made an army that was able to push, but not hard enough since it got him a lot of unit loses thanks to harstems smart play. The gargs started pushing the opponents goldmine with the opponent playing without ancient of war (so no air).

It was just a matter of time before the game was over, 2-0 to dok/harstem.

Which ment that I didn't have to play the rematch, and we didn't have to play the deciding 2on2.

Final score: 3-0

Nothing special yet

Hello guys!

For a long time I haven't been writing a blog about my amateur warcraft carreer.

The reason for it, is because I didn't find anything special to write about. I am always trying to write about something which is interested to both read and write about, but there hasn't been anything I liked.

I haven't had any Off-line tournaments lately, so that was probably one of the main reasons. I really liked writing about the tournaments, but the blogs besides the off-line tournaments haven't been interested to me. And I think they haven't been interesting in your eyes to, since there weren't that many readers.

But now I have found something to talk about. Starcraft II.

As many of you know Warcraft is a long existing game which is still being played a lot, just like Counter Strike.

Oldschool players returning, or others retiring. But not a lot of new blood have been able to play at a top level (maybe for a couple). I could say the same to Warcraft.

A lot of top players are still playing, the games are still interesting to watch (but of course again as the same with Counter Strike, the scene has changed and it was better in the old days, well many say that. I haven't been in that century :$).

For the new blood, there are new chances with the second version of Starcraft. Still a lot don't know what to expect from the game, but from what I have seen was pretty interesting. The game is tougher than Warcraft in my opinion, mainly because of the many.. many and even more features to think about as a competive gamer.

It will take a lot of time for me to get used to the game, also because I haven't played Starcraft a lot in the past, probably just around 4 or 5 custom games.

That is what my team is discussing about lately. With the idea of switching to that game, to get our new chances and hopefully get far both national and international. What I am also curious about is; Will the Koreans be domating the scene again.. or will the europeans and americans also get their chances same as with Warcraft?

Next to this big new game. Our team have also been playing a couple of clanwars lately, which wen't pretty wel. Just PCW's but they were versus some good ranked players.

I have been improving a lot lately, and if I will stick to this I believe I will get a good chance to be a pretty good Starcraft player.
